Nothing is Impossible

FIRSTLY you need to aim beyond what you are capable of. You must develop a complete disregard for where your abilities end. Try to do things that you’re incapable of.

If you think you’re unable to work for the best company in its sphere, make that your aim. If you think you’re incapable of running a company, make that your aim. If you think you are unable to be on the cover of Frobes magazine, make it your business to be there. Make your vision of where you want to be a reality. Nothing is impossible.

Karoshi

Recently i had some friends from Japan over for some Business, while discussing the working culture in Japan we stumbled upon a word ” Karoshi”. Karoshi (pronounced /Ka roe Shi/). In Japanese, this term means “Death by Overwork,” a syndrome that allegedly claims at least 75-100 lives per year in Japan.

Studies indicate that of the 8,760 hours in a year, Karoshi victims worked in excess of 3,000 hours during the year prior to their death.  My friends mentioned that some companies in Japan as a service to their employees even provided actors who would visit the aging parents of overworked adult children too busy working to visit their parents themselves. I was amazed that such situations exist in todays fast moving World.

Though few of us should fear Karoshi, we should be especially careful not to allow overwork to drain energy and meaning from our lives.

The Clock Is Ticking…

Just imagine your bank credits your account each morning with £86,400, But since it does not carry over a balance from one day to the next, any money you fail to spend today will be wiped off from your account.

What would you do? You’d probably draw out every penny every single day before closing time. And if you’re smart you would invest some of it for your Future. Each of us has a bank very much like this imaginary one. It’s called TIME.

Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds and Every night it writes off as lost, whatever seconds you’ve failed to use to your advantage. It carries no balance forward. If you fail to make full use of the day’s deposit, you lose what you don’t use.

Each of us has the same number of seconds to use as we think best, but we do not all use them to the best advantage and we do not all invest them wisely. Action time !!! EVERY SECOND MATTERS….
